Mission STatement

THE LIVING MUSEUM COMPANY IS A TROUPE OF PROFESSIONAL ACTORS WHO HAVE CREATED PROGRAMS THAT INTERACTIVELY BRING CULTURAL HISTORY AND LITERATURE TO ALL AGE GROUPS. WHERE THE YOUNGEST AUDIENCES ARE INTRODUCED AND ENGAGED IN ORIGINAL AND CLASSIC WORKS AND THE OLDEST AUDIENCES ARE INVITED TO RENEW THEIR AWARENESS OF LIFE AS SEEN THROUGH THE EYES OF THE YOUNG. THE COMPANY CONTINUES TO RESEARCH AND DEVELOP PRESENTATIONS WHERE THERE IS A NEED FOR EXPLORATION AND AWARENESS IN OUR COMMUNITIES.


History

THE LIVING MUSEUM COMPANY HAS SERVED YOUTH AND COMMUNITIES WITH PRESENTATIONS AND RESIDENCY PROGRAMS SINCE 2003. THE CITY OF WHITE PLAINS (YOUTH BUREAU, DEPARTMENT OF SAFETY, AND LIBRARY), MERCY COLLEGE AND FORDHAM UNIVERSITY, AND HISTORIC HUDSON VALLEY ARE AMONG THE CLIENTS VISITED IN NEW YORK. THE LIVING MUSEUM COMPANY BRINGS ITS PROGRAMS TO SCHOOLS, LIBRARIES, COMMUNITY CENTERS, AND COLLEGES THROUGH OUT THE TRI-STATE AREA.

DIRECTOR TONI RUBIO, (METROPOLITAN OPERA OF NEW YORK, WHITE PLAINS PERFORMING ARTS CENTER),with the assistance of RAPHAEL PEACOCK (HUDSON SHAKESPEARE COMPANY, HUNTINGTON STAGE, AND ACTORS’ CONSERVATORY THEATER) AND HAVE IMPLEMENTED THESE PROGRAMS IN INNER CITIES AND REGIONAL COMMUNITIES IN BOSTON AND NY, SINCE 1991.
